I love the design of this top. I ended up sewing one for my aunt for Christmas and she also loved it. The instructions and video were easy to follow if I ever got lost in the process.
I'm so excited to wear this top out. It was a really fun way to explore garment production on a sewing machine which I needed. I made this top in a madras plaid and used cord to make some lucky knots with glass beads instead of the bias ribbons. Total time spent was probably 10 hours from downloading the files to finishing the details but I swear making the bias tape took half the time.
The pdf is extremely detailed and the video tutorial is also very helpful. I’d definitely get more patterns from her.
As an absolute beginner this was quite a challenge but the pattern has super detailed diagrams and instructions so all the steps were easy to understand! And the result looks stunning!
